Athletes like Arnold showed that having a tall and muscular body benefits them in becoming renowned bodybuilders. However, over time, shortest bodybuilders have proved that having a tall height isn’t necessary to dominate the bodybuilding field as long as you have a well-defined physique. They have even recorded their names in the Guinness Book of World Records. But which bodybuilder has the shortest height? We are here with a list of 5 short bodybuilders to ever live in this world. 

5- Ed Theriault 

Born in 1920, Ed Theriault is a significant name in the world of bodybuilding, especially for those who are short. Ed Theriault made it to bodybuilding in the 1940s when it wasn’t that popular; still, he earned a lot of fame. Even before entering bodybuilding, Ed Theriault was called “Mr Little Giant” due to his muscular body. Unfortunately, the fifth shortest bodybuilder male passed away in 2003. He won the 1949 IFBB Mr Canada title, short classes in the 1950 IFBB Mr. America, and 1959 IFBB Mr. Universe contests.

4- Choon Tan

Choon Tak is the smallest Bodybuilder in Britain. The 21-year-old has a genetic defect which impacted his bone development and stunted his physical growth. He is also a Ninja Warrior, actor, and motivational speaker. His journey inspires others and shows that having a small height can’t stop you from being a bodybuilder.

3- Flavio Baccainini

Flavio Baccainini is the third shortest bodybuilder. He faced many ups and downs, but that didn’t stop Flavio from making a name in bodybuilding. Standing just 4 ’10, Flavio debuted in the European Championships WABBA (World Amateur Body Bodybuilding Association) and secured the 3rd position. In 1983, Falvio won the WABBA world championships. His best achievement was coming second in the Olympia Masters IFBB in 1999.

2- Pratik Vitthal Mohite

Defying all odds, Pratik Vitthal Mohite is the world’s shortest bodybuilder ever. He is even a Guinness Book World Record holder. Pratik started his bodybuilding career in 2012 with a lot of bumps on the way and participated in a competitive event for the first time in 2016. He is also an Instagram influencer. Though Parik Mohite hasn’t won even a single bodybuilding title as of now, he still lives a great life and passes a message that “anyone can do anything if they have a goal in mind and stay focused.”

1- Aditya “Romeo” Dev

After Pratik Vitthal Mohite, Aditya “Romeo” Dev comes in the list and is the shortest bodybuilder ever to live in this world. He was an Indian bodybuilder who died in 2012 at the age of 23. Aditya was known for his ability to shoulder press custom-made 2 kg dumbbells and was even listed in the Limca Book of Records; He was also a dancer.
